These are techniques that help us think better, more clearly or more effectively. There are many coaching tools in society, developed over thousands of years by philosophers, scientists, artists, religious leaders, politicians and everyday people – but most remain locked in academic books, research reports, complex theories or in the heads of expensive professionals.
These coaching tools have been collected from a wide variety of areas – business, philosophy, science, sports coaching to name but a few. They have all been picked because of how much they help us use our minds to the full potential that they can be. Our suggestion is that you try them out, give them a good go, and if they don’t work for you then by all means chuck them out. But do consider that if you are going to give them a go – many people we have worked with have only reluctantly agreed to but then found themselves rather surprised – then use them properly otherwise one doesn’t really have the right to criticise them – and more importantly, one will miss out on how useful they can be. Some of the most successful and confident people in the world have either developed or used these coaching tools to get where they are today. Can we not all learn from them?
